Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a linguistically astute and detail-oriented Junior Dialect Voice Analyst to join Podeo's Content Creation Lab. The ideal candidate has an ear finely tuned to the rhythms of spoken Arabic, understands the subtle distinctions that separate Lebanese from Syrian, Egyptian, Gulf, and MSA, and takes genuine pride in protecting linguistic authenticity across every piece of audio they touch.

About the Role

As a Junior Dialect Voice Analyst at Podeo, you will play a key role in upholding the linguistic integrity of podcast content published across our platform. Reporting to the Head of Content Creation Lab, you will review audio recordings to identify, classify, and document the Arabic dialect represented in each sample, flagging instances of dialect blending, voice-to-text mismatches, or inconsistencies between spoken content and its transcribed output. Day to day, this means applying evaluation criteria consistently, offering corrections and reference examples to strengthen dialect accuracy, and escalating recurring linguistic patterns to support continuous improvement . You will document your findings using designated QA and reporting tools, and you'll be entrusted with unpublished, proprietary audio content.

Qualifications You Will Need

Podeo is seeking a native or near-native Arabic speaker with genuine everyday fluency across multiple dialects, and a demonstrated ability to detect subtle regional variations by ear alone. You should be able to distinguish Lebanese from Syrian, Egyptian, Gulf, and MSA on hearing, and be comfortable producing clear, well-structured written observations and reports in Arabic or English.

This role calls for exceptional attention to detail, reliability, and the patience to sustain accuracy through repetitive listening tasks. Previous exposure to audio quality assurance, linguistics, content moderation, transcription, media, or voice technologies is preferred, and experience working with AI-generated speech or language technologies will be considered an advantage. Working knowledge of Google Workspace, project management tools such as ClickUp, and communication platforms like Slack will help you hit the ground running.
